“The Mask Is Off”: Koijee Launches Scathing Attack On Mo Ali

Monrovia, Liberia:CDC Secretary General Jefferson Koijee has launched a blistering attack on Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation Managing Director Mo Ali, accusing him of displaying arrogance and insensitivity toward vulnerable Liberians.

Koijee, in a strongly worded statement, questioned Ali’s conduct as a public official, arguing that political knowledge and a government position are meaningless without character, humility, and compassion for ordinary citizens.

“Mo-Ali, how quickly power breeds uncircumcised arrogance!” Koijee declared, accusing the LWSC Managing Director of treating struggling Liberians and vulnerable families with contempt despite once benefiting from their political support.

Koijee further alleged that some of the people now facing what he described as Ali’s “chronic arrogance” are the same Liberians whose votes helped Ali secure political relevance and escape unemployment six years ago.

The CDC Secretary General also raised serious concerns over the alleged publication of names and contact details of minors and rape survivors, describing the reported disclosure as dangerous and reckless.

“Publishing the names and contact details of minors and rape survivors to score political points is dangerously reckless,” Koijee said, calling for an immediate investigation into the matter by the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection.

He further called on Ali to “cease and desist from constantly displaying uncivilized arrogance against our vulnerable children and mothers,” warning that the exercise of public authority must be accompanied by responsibility and empathy.

Koijee said Ali’s alleged conduct demonstrates what he considers a troubling difference between academic or political knowledge and genuine character, arguing that holding a government position does not automatically translate into wisdom, humility, or humanity.

“Education fills the head; character guides conduct,” Koijee stated, before questioning the LWSC boss’s alleged treatment of vulnerable citizens and concluding his attack with the question, “How low can anyone go?”
