Dembélé Wins the 2025 FIFA Best Men's Player Award
DOHA, QATAR: Ousmane Dembélé, the superstar from France and Paris Saint-Germain, has been named The Best FIFA Men’s Player for the 2024/2025 season.
The French forward triumphed over close rivals Lamine Yamal and his PSG teammate Vitinha to secure this prestigious award for the first time in his career.
The FIFA The Best 2025 Awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Doha, Qatar, honoring outstanding players for their performances during the football season.
Dembélé had a remarkable 2024/2025 season with Paris Saint-Germain, winning the Ligue 1 title, the UEFA Champions League, the French Cup, and the French Super Cup.
At just 28 years old, he scored an impressive 35 goals and provided 14 assists, playing a crucial role in PSG’s domestic and international success.
His exceptional performances throughout the season positioned him ahead of his closest competitors.
The 2025 FIFA Best Men’s Player Award is the second most prestigious individual honor of Dembélé’s career, following his Ballon d’Or victory in September of this year.
“I want to thank my teammates. Hard work pays off; it’s been a fantastic year for me, both individually and collectively,” Dembélé remarked at the award ceremony.
