PRESIDENT ELECT JOSEPH BOAKAI CELEBRATES 79TH BIRTHDAY AMIDST PLEDGES FOR NATIONAL RENEWAL AND US VISIT.

People from various corners of the country congregated at President-elect Joseph Nuymah Boakai's residence in Paynesville Rehab outside Monrovia to mark his 79th birthday anniversary.

Dignitaries representing numerous non-governmental organizations, guests from the US Embassy near Monrovia, members of the disabled community, as well as individuals from Muslim and Christian communities, were among the attendees.

Dressed in his most exquisite attire, President-elect Boakai arrived at the program hall punctually at 4:10 to commence the celebration of his 79th birthday anniversary alongside family, friends, government officials, NGO workers, and members of the Diplomatic Corps.

Offering the initial special birthday remarks, Rev. Luther Tarpeh, the National Chairman of the Unity Party, extended birthday wishes to Joseph Boakai while emphasizing that this occasion signified more than just a birthday but also marked the birth of a new era for the country.

Following Tarpeh’s statement, the Youth Chair of the Unity Party presented a small token, expressing,

"We want to wish our own President-elect Joseph Nuymah Boakai a happy birthday. But I want to emphasize to him that this day marks not just a birthday but also the birth of a new era for our nation." he said

Responding to the birthday remarks, President-elect Boakai expressed gratitude to all the guests, affirming his commitment to a presidency focused on rescuing the country, providing hope for Liberian youth, and restoring dignity to womanhood, vehemently stating his aim to serve rather than amass wealth at the expense of the Liberian people.

President-elect Boakai highlighted the plight of Liberians in the diaspora, stuck in the capital due to deplorable road conditions, underscoring the six-year struggle under President George Weah's administration where Liberians felt marginalized within their own economy.

On his birthday, President-elect Boakai acknowledged the outpouring of calls from various embassies globally, signifying burgeoning international partnerships underway.
