A prominent Criminal Lawyer Cllr. Johnny Momoh was arrested, charged, and forwarded to the Brewerville Magisterial Court for alleged Burglary and Thief of Property.

Defendant Momoh was arrested on Saturday, March 30, 2024, along with five people following a complaint filed by his ex-girlfriend Marie Nallon.

Madam Nallon alleged that defendant Momoh, along with co-defendants Augustine Sally, Johnny Yorvor, Emmanuel Pannoh, Patricia Kamara, and Moses Miller burst into her Brewerville resident in her absence and walked away with valuables including jewelries, valued over five hundred thousand and a cash amount of $US seventy-five thousand among other valuable belongings.

She further alleged that defendant Momoh along with co-defendants also took away monies in foreign currencies to include Chinese Ram, Gambian Dalasi, Euros, CFA, South African Rand, Leones, Moroccan Dirham among other foreign currencies.

But following an hour of legal argument, a valid criminal appearance bond was filed by Defendant Momoh legal team before the Judge of Brewerville Magisterial Court Ernest Bana for his temporary release.

Meanwhile, the hearing is expected to resume on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Brewerville Magisterial Court in Montserrado County.
