Paynesville, Liberia: The Duport Road Health Center in Paynesville has received a significant boost from the Liberia Revenue Authority, with a donation of medical and essential supplies valued at over five thousand US dollars.

The items include medical drugs, sanitation materials, water dispensers, drums, chairs, fans, and other supplies aimed at improving the facility’s daily operations and service delivery.

The donation forms part of the LRA’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme and its ongoing Taxpayer Appreciation Month activities.

Speaking on behalf of Commissioner General James Dorbor Jallah, at the occasion on Monday, April 27, Assistant Commissioner for Taxpayer Services Isaac B. Stevens said the initiative reflects the Authority’s commitment to supporting communities while recognizing taxpayers whose contributions drive national development.

He praised health workers at the facility for their dedication to saving lives and providing care, and emphasized that corporate social responsibility is about service, partnership, and making real impact.

Stevens also noted that taxes collected by the LRA help fund essential public services, including healthcare, education, roads, and security.

Montserrado County Health Officer, Dr. Jewell Tarpeh Kollie, welcomed the donation and described it as timely support for the health sector.

Assistant Commissioner for Enterprise Risk Management Nyankor Matthew, who formally presented the items, reaffirmed the LRA’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and public institutions.

Receiving the donation, Officer-in-Charge Joyce G. Zoegar thanked the LRA, describing the gesture as a major boost to the facility’s operations.
