Be a Dog or Be a Cat” Nyumalin Distances Himself From NIMBO Politics

Francis Nyumalin has publicly distanced himself from the newly established NIMBO political movement linked to Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah, saying he will not be involved in what he described as “political Dog-Cat.”

Speaking on the political decision by the Deputy Speaker to establish NIMBO, Minister Nyumalin said he is carefully observing the situation before taking any position.

My traditional big brother, Thomas Fallah, the Deputy Speaker decision to establish NIMBO is a decision I as a politician have to use my microscopic eye to view,” Nyumalin stated.

He added, “I’m not going to be a part of any political Dog-Cat. What do I mean? In the political world, when you want to be a dog, be a dog; when you want to be a cat, be a cat.”

The minister’s comments are already drawing political attention, as many observers view them as a subtle warning against divided loyalties and unclear political alignments within Liberia’s political space.
